Letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation

The Book of Revelation is everything we would expect apocalyptic literature to be: a mysterious, futuristic, provocative account of the final victory of good over evil. Yet, it is also surprisingly practical, offering every day exercises for creating a healthy church and healthy life. That is no coincidence: One of the best ways to prepare for the future Kingdom is to focus on creating it today. This sermon series explores letters written to seven churches, recorded in chapters two and three of Revelation. The letters identify some common spiritual sicknesses, and the remedies God offers to make us well, both in church and life.
