Pastors and other qualified individuals at Seattle First offer counseling and also make referrals to Samaritan Center of Puget Sound (formerly Presbyterian Counseling Service). Since 1960, beginning as an outreach of the Seattle Presbytery, Samaritan has provided high quality, faith-integrative, affordable counseling for individuals, couples and families.

Three experienced Samaritan therapists see clients in the Seattle First offices: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Lori VanderBilt, Licensed Social Worker Doug LeRoy, and Pastoral Counselor March Gunderson.
